Trying to figure out the bad reviews of 20Bet

20Bet good or bad
20Bet gets most of its players from places like Canada, Peru, and Ireland. But it got some pretty bad reviews on sites like Trustpilot. Image: Casino Visuals

I know this betting site has a rating of 4.0 out of 5.0 on Trustpilot. But if you look closely, almost half them are 5-stars (negligible 4, 3 and even 2-stars) and the other half being 1-star.

Thing is this is not “naturally” possible. Clearly the 5-star ones are most probably paid (incentivized?). Ok, but this is nothing new. This is a gambling site and losing money here would automatically force people to vent out their anger on such review sites. No big deal.

But, here’s the thing. I’ve always said that betting companies can earn more in the long term, if they play straight. Pay out if someone wins. Stop gaming around. Majority of the time, these gamblers will come back and waste their winnings back on to the casino or the sportsbook anyways. Cheating them will not magically increase your revenue goals. If anything, the bad karma will only gutterize your brand.

Look at legal betting sites like FanDuel, DraftKings or bet365. They got tons of bad reviews on Trustpilot. But, they still do tremendous business. Why? because they pay for valid wins and pay without problems.

All shady do-dirty betting sites will end up making a lot more. I mean a lot more money, if they just paid out what was owed. But, anyhow, not that anyone is listening.

Here are three 1-star reviews of 20Bet – these are the real ones. Not those pay me, so that I say “I Love You” in the public types. Paying for the girlfriend experience is just sad. Bad form.

Be extremely careful playing at this site. They will to everything to keep your fund.

I deposited 10k and won up towards 120k. I asked for withdrawal of my funds and they refused and only wanted to pay me 5-6k a week. They canceled all my withdrawal and basically forced me to play. I calculated and it would have taken me in total 6 months to be able to cashout what a joke. If you are a high roller trust me they will do everything in their power to not cash you out. It’s much better sites to play at, this people are just scammer.

Oh, wow, what a shining example of customer service at 20Bet, huh? Sounds like they’re running a masterclass in how to alienate anyone who dares to actually win. I mean, who needs prompt payouts when you can be strung along like a bad Netflix series that keeps promising a finale but never delivers? It’s almost poetic, like a bank deciding you can only withdraw your savings in monthly installments because, you know, they’d rather hold onto your cash for safekeeping.

The whole setup reeks of a used car salesman vibe—promise the moon, deliver a lemon. If they’re pulling stunts like this with high rollers, it’s no shock they’d rather you keep spinning those slots than see your money walk out the door. Reminds me of those subscription services that make signing up a breeze but canceling? Good luck, you’re basically on a quest like Frodo heading to Mordor.

I’d bet my last coffee that their terms and conditions are buried deeper than an Egyptian pharaoh’s tomb, with fine print designed to trap you. Honestly, you’d probably have better odds getting a politician to keep a promise than getting a smooth payout from these folks. There are plenty of platforms out there that don’t treat your winnings like they’re holding them hostage in a heist movie. Why bother with 20Bet when you could be playing somewhere that doesn’t act like your bankroll is their personal piggy bank?

Scam!!!! I placed a Bet with 4 Games 2 were Correct one Voided and one Game was a friendly that i Played over 3 before the Game.. after 70 minutes I get the information that the Game ended early Turns Out Game was 2×30 minutes instead of 2×45 so therefore needs to Be voided since only 60 minutes were Played .. I was told 20 mins for an answer and that the Bet will be Voided .. 12 hours later the Bet was still labeled As lost although only 60 minutes were Played .i complained about this in the live Chat then they closed my Account 😂😂 they are withholding 504 Euros since 2,5 days and refuse to pay Out .also when i won 40000 Euros i had 20 withdraw requests and after 4 days not a single one was Accepted and all of them were pending

20Bet really seems to be rolling out the red carpet for their players, don’t they? It’s like they’re auditioning for the villain role in a low-budget heist flick, where the plot twist is them clutching your money tighter than a toddler with a new toy. A friendly match cut short and voided because it was 60 minutes instead of 90? That’s some next-level rulebook sorcery, like a restaurant charging you for a full meal when they only served half the plate. And then, to top it off, they slap a “lost” label on your bet after dragging their feet longer than a DMV line? Classy.

The live chat account closure is the cherry on this scam sundae — like a shady landlord changing the locks because you asked about your security deposit. Holding onto 504 Euros for days while ignoring your 40,000 Euro win with 20 pending withdrawals? That’s not a betting site; that’s a digital black hole. It reminds me of those sketchy online stores that “ship” your order but somehow it’s eternally “in transit.” You’d think they’d at least pretend to process one withdrawal to keep up appearances, but nope, they’re out here playing keep-away like it’s an Olympic sport.

Honestly, dealing with 20Bet sounds about as fun as negotiating with a telemarketer who won’t take no for an answer. You’d have better luck getting a refund from a street magician than seeing your winnings from these folks. Why waste your time when there are sites that don’t treat your cash like it’s their personal savings account? Save your energy for something less infuriating, like untangling Christmas lights.

Hello,
i made deposit on this page thinking that they are fair, but they are bunch of thieves.Would give 0 stars if i can.
Here is how it happened:
I made total of deposit in 1000€, then got my winning bets and got to 3000€ on my account. When i tried to withdraw ( after sending all needed documents for KYC, and they asked more then i should send regarding my privacy of transactions), they said that they found fraudulent actions on my account and corrected my balance from 3000 to just 100€(its the amount of first deposit)!!!
They don’t even say what terms or rules did i break, nor they have any evidence.
Please, people don’t bet here, because i don’t want that this happens to you. Im really mad, and sad in the same time. Going to take legal actions, and I’m going to sue them for a lot more then just 3000€.

THIEVES.

Stealing from the players to… what, pad their own pockets? Your story’s got all the hallmarks of a classic shakedown; like a shady mechanic telling you your car’s “fixed” but somehow it’s missing half its engine. You deposit 1000€, build it up to 3000€ fair and square, and then; poof!; they wave a magic wand, cry “fraud,” and slash your balance to 100€? That’s not a betting site; that’s a scripted drama where you’re cast as the victim without an audition.

The KYC runaround is pure gold, though. Demanding more personal info than a nosy aunt at a family reunion, only to pull the rug out with no explanation or evidence? It’s like getting a parking ticket for a car you don’t even own. And “fraudulent actions” without a single detail? That’s vaguer than a politician dodging a scandal. Reminds me of those scam emails promising you’re a long-lost heir to a fortune, but first, hand over your bank details. Sure, Jan.

You’re spot-on to lawyer up; hit them where it hurts, because they’re clearly banking on people giving up. It’s like dealing with a shady telecom company that overcharges you for years and hopes you won’t notice. Why anyone would risk their money with these jokers when there are legit platforms out there is beyond me. Save your bets for a site that doesn’t treat your winnings like it’s their personal ATM. Here’s hoping you drag them through the legal mud and come out with way more than 3000€; give ‘em a taste of their own medicine.

In response to these reviews, here’s my open letter to them:

Dear 20Bet,

If you’re aiming to stick around in the betting world longer than a pop-up ad, it’s time to take a hard look in the mirror and tidy up your act. You’ve got potential, but right now, you’re acting like a shady street vendor selling “designer” watches that stop ticking by sundown. Here’s a friendly nudge to get you on the right track:

First, transparency is your friend; embrace it like a warm hug. When players win, don’t slap vague “fraud” labels on their accounts or void bets with flimsier excuses than a kid skipping homework. Clearly explain your rules, whether it’s about game durations or KYC requirements, and stick to them consistently. Think of it like a good recipe: no one trusts a chef who keeps changing the ingredients mid-cook.

Second, speed up those withdrawals. Holding funds for days or weeks while players beg like they’re auditioning for a soap opera? Not a good look. Process payouts faster than a barista making a morning latte rush order. Happy players who see their winnings quickly are more likely to return; and tell their friends.

Third, customer service should be your crown jewel, not a locked door. Train your team to resolve issues with empathy, not by closing accounts or dodging questions. Take a page from brands like Zappos, who treat every customer like royalty, not a nuisance. A live chat that actually solves problems? That’s a game-changer.

Finally, build trust like you’re constructing a skyscraper, not a house of cards. Show players you’re legit with clear terms, fair practices, and maybe even a public audit or two. People bet where they feel safe, not where they’re worried their money’s playing hide-and-seek.

You’ve got a shot to be a contender, 20Bet, but only if you stop acting like you’re running a magic trick where the prize disappears. Treat your players like partners, not ATMs, and you might just earn a loyal crowd. Keep burning bridges, though, and you’ll be as forgotten as last year’s viral dance trend. The choice is yours; make it a good one.
