People feel I write these pieces because I hate all casinos. I don’t.
I know you don’t care; but I genuinely want the truth to make it to the top. Frequent readers of this site know well, I don’t take any affiliate links, whatsoever. No payments for BS pro-brand advertisements. There’s plenty of “This Casino is the Best in [Enter Year]” type reviews. And Google does rank them too. Be it that way. I will post what looks and sounds real to me.
So, this newish (should I say it? may be not that new) betting site called Lemon Casino has some crazy reviews. Why did it come on my radar? Well, they do work with GPWA; as a premium sponsor; so I know they got money to pay the affiliates to do their bidding. What I wanted to know if they’re clean with their players too.
“Not” to my surprise, like hundreds of other brands, it’s got the same dramas running the crowd. Same “This casino is fake as hell” type reviews on Trustpilot. Though I checked it today before writing this post (25th April 2025); it had a rating of 2.9 out of 5.0. Not bad, but the thing is ALL their 5-star reviews look fake. Most of them are auto-generated through ChatGPT. So, it’s either people are giving them a 5-star rating, or hate them to bits and 1-star them. Nothing in between the two extremes.
And this only happens when things are shady. I’d bet my bottom dollar; the lovey-dovey ones are made-up. Just have a look at this one 5-star review I randomly picked up on (is from Poland, I think they target this country the most – this and Canada, as least per Similarweb’s stats):
Lemon Casino is a well-known gambling establishment that offers a variety of games, entertainment, and customer service. Whether you are a casual player or a high roller, this casino provides an exciting atmosphere with numerous opportunities to win big. In this review, I will evaluate its game selection, bonuses, customer support, and overall experience.
Come on lol. How genuine does it look to you as a reader? Clearly it’s an AI copy-paste show.
Here’s another where it clearly seems he was asked to post a 5-star rating on Trustpilot, if he wanted his money withdrawn. What form of soft blackmailing is that?
My experience was great lots of wins but not user friendly as far as receiving withdrawals. I found the method of trying to identify myself for confirmation difficult. Still not sure if I will get my money won. – Sue
I must say this is not the first time I’ve seen this stuff. In fact it’s quite common in the gambling industry; where, frankly bettors are in it to “lose” not to win. But, forcing them to post positive reviews for getting their validly won money is just low-form bro.
Now let’s have a look at a real testimonial, where the user isn’t paid or coerced into showing artificial love for this brand:
Unless players remember or writes down every details of every spin they do it is then IMPOSSIBLE TO VERIFY if any wins are missing from all your spins. 50 $ wins are easy to see if not added to your balance immediately after spin done. But how will you notice all the other possible missing wins for small amounts you might have NOT noticed.? The reason for this is that LEMON CASINO , compared to all other transparent Casinos, DO NOT HAVE A SPIN HISTORY available for you to see from your account on the Casinos website. Upon request they will send you one but then how can you see if wins are missing in the document they send you if you have nothing to compare with ? You would need to remember or have made yourself a detailed spin history to compare with the one they send you. The casino support keep saying that players can verify for missing wins upon request to the Casino support to send you your spin history. You cant verify, only see and hope you remembered every spin details and therefore will notice any possible missing wins. No other Casinos HIDES SPIN HISTORY AND DETAILS on their website, you must request one and you will receive it a few days after. If you do not remember all results of all your spins you can not verify the spin history they provide but not TRANSPARENT AND HONEST CASINOS DO NOT OPERATE THIS WAY AND LET PLAYERS IMMEDIATELY HAVE LIVE ACCESS TO THEIR SPIN HISTORY AND DETAILS.
LEMON CASINO, what is the purpose or reason for not letting players consult their spin history , like all other transparent casinos, unless spin history is requested by player and then sent by you in a few days ? You expect me to remember or keep score myself so when i verify with you sometimes i do not have missing wins…. ? – Bob, Canada
Let me address him directly:
I totally get where you’re coming from with your frustration about Lemon Casino’s spin history policy; it’s like trying to remember every single bite you took at a buffet. Your point about not having instant access to your spin history is super valid, and it does make things feel less transparent. Most folks, like you, want to check their game logs right away, just like how we all love tracking our steps on a fitness app to see how far we’ve walked. Not having that real-time info can feel like being asked to guess how many laps you ran without a stopwatch. Let’s break this down with a bit of a smile and some everyday examples, while also giving Lemon Casino a little room to explain their side.
It’s really tough to trust a system when you can’t see your spin history right there on the website. Imagine if Netflix made you email them to find out what shows you watched last month; annoying, right? You’re spot-on that smaller wins, like a $2 or $5 payout, could slip through the cracks if you’re not scribbling down every spin like a kid keeping score at a board game. Most other casinos let you peek at your game history instantly, which is like how Amazon shows you every order you’ve ever made with one click. That kind of openness builds trust, like when a restaurant posts its health inspection score right on the door. Lemon Casino’s “request and wait” approach feels a bit like sending a letter to Santa and hoping he sends you a list of your presents a week later. It’s not impossible to verify your wins, but it’s a hassle, and you shouldn’t need a photographic memory to feel confident your money’s being handled right.
Now, giving Lemon Casino a little credit, there might be a reason they don’t show spin history right away. Running a casino website is like managing a huge music festival; there’s a ton of data flying around, and maybe their system isn’t set up to display every spin instantly without slowing things down. Think of it like how your phone sometimes takes a second to load all your old text messages. They do offer to send you the history when you ask, which is better than nothing, like how a store might mail you a receipt if you lose it. Also, Lemon Casino’s support team seems to respond to these requests, based on reviews, so it’s not like they’re ignoring you completely; kind of like when your internet provider makes you call to fix a glitch, but at least they pick up the phone.
Still, Bob, I’m mostly with you here. Transparency is key, like when a politician posts their campaign donations online for everyone to see (well, we wish they all did!). Lemon Casino could take a page from other casinos and make spin history as easy to check as your bank app shows your transactions. It’d save you from feeling like you’re playing detective just to make sure your wins are counted. My suggestion? Keep nudging their support team for that history, and maybe even tweet about it; sometimes a little public noise gets companies moving, like when fans rallied to save a canceled TV show.
If Lemon Casino doesn’t resolve your issue, submit a complaint to the Curacao Gaming Control Board, which oversees their license. Reference their Curacao license (#5536/JAZ).
The GCB can investigate if Lemon Casino is violating license terms, like failing to pay winnings. It’s like reporting a shady business to a consumer protection agency; not always a slam dunk, but it’s an official channel.
Gather all documents in a clear, organized file. Submit via the GCB’s online portal, explaining the missing wins and how Lemon Casino’s lack of transparency hinders verification.
Be patient; GCB responses can take weeks, and their process isn’t as robust as, say, the UK Gambling Commission.
Bob, you’ve got a fighting chance to verify missing wins, especially if you act fast and organized. Request that spin history, start logging your spins, and don’t be afraid to escalate to the GCB or Reddit if Lemon Casino drags their feet. Your odds are better with evidence, but even without it, persistence and public pressure can work, like rallying friends to back you up in a dispute.
Going forward, treat Lemon Casino like a quirky local diner; enjoy the vibe, but keep your own tab to avoid surprises. If you want to play it safer, consider casinos with Malta or UK licenses for stronger transparency, like choosing a chain store over a pop-up shop.
