Americas Cardroom, as far as my own four decades on this planet goes needs little introduction.

The website can also be accessed at ACRPoker.eu.

I mean unless you are a baby in the world of poker, say professional poker; there is no reasonably understandable way for me to believe that you have not heard of this brand.

So why am I writing about them then? Sure plenty of other very useful casino sites have detailed them out better.

Well, I could do slightly better or worse explaining their oomph in terms of my review, based on my own personal experience playing there.

I am not a pro.

In fact, my friends who sit down casually and stake down beer money can beat me at this game.

What I think I can be pretty sure about is how to rate Americas Cardroom as a good poker site, to which I believe it is.

Despite having a challenging environment as per this Reddit thread, imposed by the patriot American regulators…cough, ahem; Americas Cardroom seems to have done well for itself even when operating out of Costa Rica since 2001.

Top Reddit ThreadAmerica's Cardroom is a total scam, completely rigged, and simply unwinnable

A company by the name of Winning Poker Network (WPN) runs this place – was called Doyles Room before they went for a makeover.

I believe they also own True Poker website.

It’s one of a few offshore poker sites out there that has its own “proper” smartphone app.

Don’t email me questions about their licensing status.

It doesn’t have one.

It doesn’t need one.

Americas Cardroom has built its, let’s say positive image by simply surviving a long number of years, not short-changing, at least a good number of their loyal players, and being upright as an old-school man, who would not compromise on his integrity.

But that is just me.

Google them on Trustpilot or Reddit them out, and the reviews there make them look like an extremely intricate Mafia that is out there to steal and stab.

That would be fine, just that you could press those keys and type in Bet365 and FanDuel too – two legal and government-stamped gambling operations in the US – and you would still end up with a stampede of angry Rhinos wanting their money back.

Big brands have this problem.

All top names in the industry do.

One can’t just blindly put up faith in what’s out there.

What you need is your own experience.

Your own $100 dollars worth of risk.

Do that. Try them out.

At best you will lose your weekly gas money on poker.

Big deal.

I did test out their withdrawals.

My small payout of $250 was processed after I cleared the dreaded ID verification process.

Personally, I don’t bother about it much.

Just get those facial scans ready and there shouldn’t be any roadblocks left for you.

Bitcoin, checks and prominent e-wallets are how one can deposit and withdraw from Americas Cardroom.

BTC transactions are barricaded by a $50,000 per week limit; though I believe this good enough for most players.

Texas Hold’em is what their entire platform is about.

Other poker games are there, but this one is what the majority of their players play.

The sugar is strong there.

Bonuses are there.

I think better than most, but you do need to show some serious love, empty your wallet and then ACR does the same with up to $2,000 in playable free money.

No Deposit Bonuses aren’t on the menu, so don’t bother sniffing around for them.

But never trust anyone.

Read the fine lines in their bonus terms.

The rollover requirements make most bonuses as weak as Sloths.

If you were born wealthy or made it life – self-made millionaire crowd – Americas Cardroom has got an Elite Benefits Program, which incites the biggies to spend even more, get the points build up and then use them for Cash Rewards.

Like the high rollers really needed the cash in the first place.

LOL.

If you have 50 cents to spare, you could have a go at their Sit and Gos on Sundays.

Tons of poker addicts become part of these tournaments every weekend.

The rake is not terrible, barred at $3 or 5% whichever is higher.

Peak times can bring in trouble sometimes.

I did face a few disconnections during a few sit-ins but nothing too scary or unmanageable.

And if you’re a webmaster want to earn some extra cash, perhaps signing up for their affiliate program would be a feasible idea too.

If offshore is your thing, then perhaps BetOnline and Bovada are two other major poker networks you may poke your fingers into.

Both of these, however, adore casual or newbie players.

These places hate pro poker players like dogs do cats.

Since I’m a casual player of this fascinating game, nothing bothers me much.

I have my limits and sure hope you would too.

Skill or luck, poker still ends up throwing a lot of talented folks out on the streets – especially the ones who believe they are God’s special people.

Don’t go crazy with the stakes because the wrath of the gambling statistics can bite back with a jaw-breaking force.

Americas Cardroom would still be here, even after you go broke playing poker aggressively.

Just don’t be stupid enough to grind it to the ground.
