If you’re one of those people (I’ll refrain from calling you a degen); who’re always on the prowl to get your hands on shopping coupons and last-minute deals; then “I think,” you’ll like CasinoMax (its sister site is called Cherry Jackpot).
It’s like they took a casino and joined it up with a Black Friday sale – except this time, the only thing getting crushed is your self-control
Why? Well, because Casinomax’s got only one thing to sell, and that’s deposit bonuses. Like, I don’t believe they’ve anything else to show-off. I mean what would they. Let’s be honest. Most casinos don’t; as they have the same software, same level of customer service; majority are ditto copies of each other, minus the website design.
I wouldn’t be surprised if their customer service rep just answered the phone with, ‘Press 1 for a bonus, press 2 for a bigger bonus, and press 3 if you’ve somehow run out of bonuses (which, let’s be honest, is impossible).
Jokes aside; just head out to its site, and you’ll know what I’m on about. Their entire frontpage is riddled with freebies and bonuses aimed at forcing the newbies and bonus hunters to click their Sign Up button.
It’s like by the time you realize what’s happening, you’re already wondering if you actually wanted to play or if you just got dizzy by flashing dollar signs.
After all, not many normies can resist a 325% bonus that flies all the way to the top hitting $9,750 (in chunks of back-to-back 3 deposits of course).
By the way clearing their wagering requirements would make you feel like you just worked a full-time job.
But then, like the Groundhog Day movie; it’s got a seen-it-done-it kind of a vibe. At least for me.
That’s not it, if you don’t even feel like dropping a dollar; they still have a $40 no deposit bonus offer waiting for you around the corner.
Talk about being desperate for new customers.
I guess it’s a smart business move. Perhaps, hopefully, according to them, the free-loaders that register might eventually unload their wallets at some point in the future. A small percentage “always” do; so may be it works out for them in the end, just fine.
They’re basically saying, “Take the bonus, enjoy, no pressure… but uh, if you happen to deposit more later… we won’t stop you. In fact, here’s another bonus to help you do just that.”
All the top casino affiliate marketing portals, say for example, names like Wizardofodds and Casinomeister seem to like them; and grade this site quite favorably. I don’t know if it’s the lucrative partnership deals in the background, or this betting site is authentically awesome.
Sounds like either this betting site is truly a topper, or it’s just really great at playing the affiliate marketing game. Either way, someone’s hitting the jackpot and it’s probably not the players!
I mean I generally tend to avoid a casino, if it’s shown as “too good to be true,” especially on affiliate-centric review sites.
But then again, don’t get me wrong. I think CasinoMax has potential. I don’t believe it would eat away your deposit, or play other dirty tricks to confiscate your winnings; something that’s quite common.
I guess what I’m trying to say is that CasinoMax isn’t one of those casinos where your deposit disappears faster than your willpower at an all-you-can-eat buffet. So, it’s legit in that sense at least.
By the way, if CasinoMax gives you a fishy feeling, and you want to try out something else, I can suggest reading my review of Slotland Casino; which is an OK betting site (even though it didn’t click me at first); is old and established, makes its own games.
Having a Curacao license doesn’t help them much
But then, it was never meant to be a proper legal online casino to begin with.
It being an offshore betting site is why it’s able to accept American bettors without serious consequences.
Yeah, a Curacao license is about as reassuring as a “trust me” from a used car salesman – but hey, if you don’t mind an offshore betting site with a tier-2 gambling license, be my guest.
I couldn’t be bothered to drop more than $50 at this place
For testing purposes, I usually do at least $100. They haven’t got an app and is basically an RTG casino, much like Slotocash.im (which I played at too, won $4K and reviewed).
So, lost $20 playing RTG’s Cash Bandits 3 slot; and $30 losing on their Live Blackjack Early Payout (BJEP); that’s powered by Visionary iGaming (ViG).
Mind you, this place requires a $35 minimum to open a new account, if you use cards, Skrill etc., for Bitcoin it’s $10.
The thing that really lowers my mood is their withdrawal limit, which is a max of $4k per week; with an upper limit of $16,000 per month
Good bye jackpot. I mean, it would take about a year to get paid out; if one accidently won a $150K jackpot.
In most such cases, players end up spending this money back on the casino, instead of going through the excruciatingly high waiting times. Again, these time periods are set knowingly by betting sites; to save on a company’s long-term cash flow.
This is where I like places like Wild Casino. I mean it’s also offshore, but it can pay big amounts whenever a player wins. I mean I won $11k and got paid. It’s another fact that I eventually lost all the winnings back to them. Read about my experience and you’ll get a better idea.
It doesn’t have many threads on Reddit
Here’s one that complains about a voided win:
So, after seeing some positive reviews, I decided to try online gambling and deposited $40 into CasinoMax. They had this coupon that bumped my first deposit up to $175. Feeling lucky, I started playing, and I was up to $1500 at one point! I thought, why not withdraw $400 and play with the “house money.”
I got an email from their Cashier Team saying they had reviewed my withdrawal request and voided my winnings due to a breach of their “max bet rule.” The rule states that you can’t bet more than $10 while playing through promotional bonuses or cash-back offers.
I got my original deposit back as a “gesture of good faith,” but that’s not the point. The point is the lack of transparency and the arbitrary rules that can void your winnings after you’ve invested time and money into their games.
Steer clear of CasinoMax. Their ambiguous rules and lack of transparency make it an unreliable platform.
I didn’t go deep into this case, because, well, it’s just another standard “I didn’t know the bonus rules,” rant. Ok sure, people don’t get lucky this often, but these casinos are out there to earn money; to fill up their own corporate bank accounts, not yours. Their “bonus rules” are set to make sure the accounts show a credit balance on their books. At least he got his original deposit back, so they aren’t thieves. That’s a given.
Their reviews sample size on Trustpilot is quite small to take it seriously
It’s only got 37 reviews (as of 21st March 2025); with a cumulative rating of 2.7 out of 5.0; ranking it “Poor.” Most of the negative feedback revolves around withdrawals – typical – or not being able to win. Here’s one reviewer who gave it a 1-Star:
Do not go here! I’ve been playing here for years with only 2 withdrawals made. I will deposit 50 dollars a week and 95 % of the time I will never even get over my deposit amount. I lose here constantly. Bovada I can win usually 40%-50 of my deposits. They will not take complaints seriously and just say it’s bad luck. It truly has been a horrible experience playing here. – Joel Hillman, United States
Funny that I also spent $50 here, but never managed to win anything to claim my cry. But, I also don’t believe Bovada is any better. It’s actually equally hated on review sites, despite being such an old brand. It’s all RNG in the end, but let’s not get into that debate right now.
Now here’s one of the better ones, from Brazil; this gentleman gave them a 3-Star review:
Trusted RTG casino if you like those games. Only thing is their payouts that take many days to process, and many other online casinos offer faster/instant payouts nowadays depending on currency but if you enjoy RTG games it’s a good option. – Bryan Hoffman
Brazil has recently made some changes towards legalizing gambling in the country, banned 2,000 offshore casinos, issued permits to 93 companies to operate nationwide.
Guess Bryan can finally bet legally – if he can survive the terms and conditions first. Of course legal sites have tons of betting restrictions. It’s like by the time you place a bet, you feel like you’re playing a bureaucracy simulator instead of poker.
For now, one just has to suck up to it. Good thing is that CasinoMax does pay; and this in itself is not something to ignore. Waiting two to three days or even a week should not bother you as long as the money hits your account.
Can’t say much about their customer support to be honest
Didn’t ever find the need to get in touch with them for anything, since it was all smooth sailing for me. But, it all looks standard to me. Same FAQ, Live Chat and Email stuff. I would imagine, it wouldn’t be terrible.
Not at least, if you’re a “potential” customer.
I’m sure most betting sites are super helpful… at least until you actually need them.
CasinoMax is I guess, an OK site if your expectations aren’t that great
In other words; if you’re someone who’s got an upper-deposit-limit of a few hundred dollars, are happy to win $100 or two once a while, play mostly for entertainment (which you should!) using small-off beer money; then CasinoMax shouldn’t be half bad.
Just don’t start calling yourself a “professional gambler” because you once turned $20 into $50; your grandma’s bingo winnings would put you to shame.
