It’s not like Slots.lv is new to the scene. It’s been around the block, seen plenty of action, served 10s of thousands of players over all these years. And, what’s unique? It’s owned by Bovada, which is one of the oldest offshore betting sites in existence – if you keep its parent Canada-centric parent Bodog in mind too.
Yet, for some reason; it’s not been able to keep tabs on the slew of negative reviews it keeps getting on sites like Reddit and Trustpilot. Even its parent company Bovada has terrible reviews despite being such an old brand.
For example, the majority of reviewers – 69% gave it a 1-star – put this casino in the negative light on Trustpilot. OK granted, this is based on just over 200 reviews, but still. You get the point.
At least the good thing about it is that their staff still replies back to every bad rating; even though it’s all copy-and-paste, “Oh no, we didn’t know – Sorry, we never do that – Please contact us and we will work it out,” kind of traditional PR stuff.
I just randomly selected a few for you to look at:
This site refuses to play fair! Complete obvious scam. Games literally win at about 7percent that is it. It’s always the exact same sorry crap no matter what you do or how.
I won the first time I ever played and have done nothing but lose since and they did pay me out when I did win.
And the ones that gave them 5-stars look as if they were created on ChatGPT. Like have a read. It feels so robotic. No kidding.
From the moment I registered, I was impressed by the user-friendly interface and the wide variety of games available. The slot selection is fantastic, with many exciting themes and features that keep the gameplay fresh and entertaining.
LOL. I mean WTF. Who writes like that? I don’t know man. Crazy stuff.
It would be natural; probably much better if they actually put in some effort to invite over “real players” who’re genuinely happy dropping money on their platform.
I mean one can see through the charade. May be the right word is BS. But, who am I to say that.
So my experience with them wasn’t too bad to be straight
Not the best. But, definitely not bad. I have seen way worse.
It could be the sheer large numbers we’re talking about. May be only losers tend to make an effort to write a review, so that may be it.
Like, for me at least, the entire process was smooth. Starting from the $350 deposit I made through Bitcoin to losing it on slots in the next two hours. Hehe.
But then I’m not angry at them. They didn’t code the games. The law of randomness was in charge, so I lost my deposit.
I don’t think it’s fair to blame an online casino for its inability to swivel luck in your favor.
I guess a more pertinent topic would be to find out if they pay out for large wins. And so far, from what I’ve read – even from the general reviews by a multitude of people – they do.
And, I can’t find a reason as to why they wouldn’t. It’s not like they’re a fly-by-night joint. In fact, they’re flush with cash; thanks to the success of their parent company Bovada.
So, I don’t believe – even for a second- that they’ll deliberately make a concerted effort to ditch genuine winners, or sabotage their slots machines (which they technically cannot) in their own favor.
Most scam casinos tend to cheat their players during the withdrawal process. This is where they act shady e.g.; drag on KYC, find faults in the wins, or simply reject the payout request citing some bonus playthrough clause, that is outright undoable.
So do I believe Slots.lv is scamming their own players on purpose?
No.
But, do I think this casino needs to do a better job managing its image on review sites?
Of course.
Now how it does that is something I can’t help them with. I’m sure they have the human resource and the skills to get it sorted.
However, for now at least, publicly, they’re doing a terrible job.
