Forget about Wild Casino reviews; I personally won and lost a hefty sum at this place

I know I said repeatedly in my previous writings of not being a fan of the slots machines.

That’s because they really are mechanized single-arm bandits, or whatever people call them.

Chances of ever winning anything substantial on them are usually slim to none. Yet, hundreds of millions of people lose tons of money, making the casino owners and their extended families rich beyond means.

But, I really had to test them out. Seriously, if I am being honest, as an iGaming affiliate for several brands over the course of the last 14 years, there are mainly two things I have learned:

  1. Most online casino slots are rigged.
  2. And, even one does manage to find a decent betting site, chances of getting paid are low.

So, it’s not easy to get hold of a place that will pay out your winnings and also not employ dirty tactics.

And I tend to lose the most through my affiliate account. Why? because I don’t get anything if the players win. Statistically, for whatever reason this casino seems to have a lot of frequent winning players and cash outs. This is precisely the reason, I wanted to test them out myself with my own money. Because a.) it would give me a chance to see what all the buzz was about b.) if I hit anything over $500 (which was my goal), I’ll do a hit and run, like most smart gamblers do at the Las Vegas casinos. Hit and Run, meaning, if I hit $500, I’d just quit that particular slot machine, move to the next one with superior pay lines or better yet, walk out of the daily session altogether, so as to not lose the winnings to the fairy of fate.

WildCasino.ag, despite being offshore has all the qualities of being an upfront slots site, at least from what I have experienced from the admin side of the things. I mean I’m not saying that because they’re paying me to do so. Instead this is more about how I won $11,000 by dropping only $200 or so, withdrawing it the next day, through Bitcoin, depositing it back (stupid me) the next week and then losing all of it on their Live Casino games in the next 5 days.

Yes, most would call the whole story retarded. I accept that.

My will to lose easy money combined with an insatiable ego led me to gift it all back to Wild Casino within a matter of days.

But, first I surfed around to find out what the general public thought of this place. Googling led me to Trustpilot; where it’s got average ratings.

Here are two reviews one is a 3-star followed by the one that is a 1-star:

Haven’t had a win worth cashing in yet so can’t say they are good or bad. No trouble depositing but I only use BTC. I’m there to win money and is the only sign of a good casino to me. If I ever successfully withdraw $500 or more I will immediately change to 5 stars. I have these cheating ass casinos online with a passion and feel everyone should expose the bad and promote the good ones. Time will tell.

I have been a long time member and Wild casino was great. But they do not care about their long time members at all. You will win once so as soon as you do not deposit any more because they will not let you win anymore and when you refer friends they will not honor the bonus they are supposed to give. They just lost 2 members because of this and if you are reading this make sure you are one of them until they have none. All they had to do was give me 50 free spins, but they would rather lose LONG time members then give them 50 free spins. Shut em down. Time to go back to the real casino and shut the online ones down to make them work for their money. They need to remember we pay their bills they need to be put in their place and they will be. Good luck everyone.

So, now you can see how hesitant I was moving forward.

But, I did anyways.

My lucky stars were aligned

First I thought I would post this review on Reddit, but then why give them the free traffic. They have enough already.

So it happened on the 30th of December last year, a few days after Christmas. I was just bored, had nothing to do. Family had left. Friends were exhausted, wouldn’t go out any more. I was just alone at home, trying to read my emails, getting ready for the early start of the next year.

And during these shenanigans, I opened up another window, went to YouTube and saw a video of a creator playing slots and winning a few bucks. This just gave me an idea to check out Wild Casino, with just a few bucks.

After all, why not.

So, in the next window, I simply typed up WildCasino.ag, clicked the Register button, took a few minutes to enter the personals. I had to redo it since I was testing their platform out from the client’s side.

Only had to contact their support once, for confirming the Bitcoin deposit of $230, which was my complete Electrum balance. Nothing happened in the first 30 minutes, so I just clicked the Live Chat button, and a guy called Jack took care of it all. The money was credited and I was ready to lose it all. LOL.

I knew I was going to lose all my deposit in like two hours, but then this happened

So Wild Casino has partnerships with Dragon Gaming and BetSoft, along with a few others, I can’t remember.

My best shot was to choose a couple of “Popular” and “Exclusive” titles, because they tend to have the maximum traffic on them. Chances of ever winning anything are slightly higher on more-used slot machines. Don’t ask me the science of it, but at least this is what my experience has been.

After hopping a bit, clicking aimlessly from one page to another, I settled for the “Ultimate Golden Dragon Inferno” and the “Gates of Tartaros.”

The first one is from BetSoft, has 243 ways to win, with medium volatility and 28.46% hit rate. Not ideal but one of the better ones.

I don’t want to explain the dynamics and the storylines, because that stuff doesn’t matter. Go read a slot review site, if you want such scoops.

Since it’s Hold and Win, I dropped $100 on it, with the first $50 set as a $1 per spin. The rest at 50 cents.

My way of playing is that I tend to reduce the per-spin risk, if I keep losing by X% and keep increasing the risk by X or XX percentage points, if I win. Any substantial amount, say over $500, and I’m out.

Right, the spins came and went. Hehe. No win, nothing at all and the $50 went down the drain quicker than a blink of an eye. After reducing my risk down to 50 cents per spin, I remember hitting $385 or may be it was $395 (can’t remember exactly) and possibly my 70-something spin.

I was happy, I mean that was a good rate of return on a $100 drop.

Unfortunately that happiness came to pass as soon as it came, because I increased the risk to $2 per spin, basically double my starting ride, and lost it all back on the successive ones.

Bad luck or an SOP of a standard slot machine ecosystem. You can decide.

Next I put $120 into playing “The Gates of Tartaros” which is 6 reel by a company called PureRNG and has a 96.46% RTP. The good thing I liked about it, and possibly that only reason I played it (lucky for me) was that it has 15 free spins and one can win 15,000x the bet amount. And for my lucky stars this is how I hit the $11K jackpot.

Same strategy, I put up $50 upfront for $1 per spin. Nothing happened, as expected, for the first 25 or so spins. Then if I remember correctly, I hit $1200, on the 26th or the 27th spin.

Wow, I though in my mind. That was it. Something was telling me this is it.

Kept spinning till I hit 82nd spin. Voila, lol couldn’t believe my eyes, I hit $9K. Took the balance to $10.2K or something.

Having lost previously on the Ultimate Inferno, my brain kept asking me to “Just Take it, Leave and Never Come Back.” Then I remembered that funny scene from South Park where Randy just bet the whole town and said something like “Stan, you don’t never stop when you’re on a winning streak.”

Why not, lol, I made a few more $10 spins and bang, another $750 banked in.

That was it. I wasn’t going to push it. Not at least on the last day of the year. Closed the window and went out for some fresh air.

The next day, I simply emailed Wild Casino and asked them to process the withdrawal request. They took about a day or two, since I had to provide them with the scan of my ID and address.

I was content, but not surprised that Wild Casino held its side of the bargain. No wonder so many Americans tend to play there, despite it being an offshore betting site. It’s because they do pay out valid winnings.

I don’t believe, at least after my own experience, any negative feedback posted about them on sites like Reddit or Trustpilot, especially pertaining rejected withdrawals.

I won $11k on a $230 initial deposit and got paid within 3 working days. How can I in all conscience disparage them for it. I don’t know the stories behind all the bad reviews about them, but there has to be a catch, something missing from player’s end. Something they won’t share on public review sites. After all; the objective is to make them look bad.

To each his own. I guess.

Now comes the worst part. I lost all my winnings back to Wild Casino. All my fault

I always believed that I had self control.

Or at least some fundamental common sense.

Ego is your biggest enemy.

You aren’t God’s little prince, just because you win a jackpot or two. There’s nothing unique about you. Nothing special. You won because of luck. It’s as simple as that.

But, such sermons are easy to give. Preaching is easy.

In practice, people tend to do the opposite. And this is exactly what I did.

I could have spent the $11K I won on something nice. Say, cleared up a few credit card bills, or done with some home repairs, but Nah, I had to be Macho man who was on a roll, thanks to God being on my side.

Foolish me.

So, instead of spending the money wisely. I ended up going back to Wild Casino.

Received a marketing email from them a few days after withdrawing my money, asking me to check out their Live Casino lounge. They had some special bonus deal also, for returning players.

My 6th sense kept telling me not to go for it. “Not to be a hero.”

But then like Forrest Gump said, Stupid Is What Stupid Does.

I decided to try my luck again.

And instead of using my brain and depositing a thousand dollars or so, I ended up Bitcoining them all the money, Yes Sir, the whole $11K.

The only sensible thing I did here was not to take any bonuses, because of all the wagering requirement politics. But, I did jot down the details of their $5,000 welcome bonus in another post; should you want to dig more.

My plan was to play their Live Casino, try my hand on Blackjack and Roulette.

I know Wild Casino operates from Panama being the sister site of BetOnline.

I think they use the same Studio too. Not sure if they have outsourced it to some third-party company, but the dealers are definitely South American.

Making long story short, my luck ran out out on the BJ tables over the course of the next three days. I believe I lost $5800 on that. At one point I was up a good $17,000 beating the man behind the table, but eventually lost it all back to the dealer.

On the 5th and the final day, I decided to play the slots again.

But, lost $2k on it within a matter an hour or two, by breaking all the fundamental rules of risk management. At this point I was just rage betting. And I could, because the money belonged to Wild Casino in the first place, anyways.

Was doing them a favor, if anything.

Then I dumped all the remaining balance into playing my luck on their Live Roulette. Whereas technically, I should have stopped, eaten up my losses and enjoyed the rest of whatever was left.

Could have bought something nice. It was still a few thousand dollars.

But the chemicals in my moronic brain gave me another signal.

“You only live once.”

“Go big or go home.”

All that mambo jambo.

It wasn’t that bad. I believe I did take the balance up to $8k or something, hitting Black 15 and 18 Red during the play, but then again couldn’t stop myself making smaller losses bigger.

Then I lost all the remaining money – which I won from Wild Casino just a few days earlier – back to where it came from.

🙁

But, I am not sad. I just feel stupid.

And vulnerable.

I have written plenty of times in my other reviews that I generally don’t gamble. Like at all.

But, then I also went through this little phase of winning and losing a rather decent amount within two weeks.

I can’t help but wonder about the people who actually do have serious gambling problems.

I must say, it is not funny.

Compulsive gambling does destroy lives.

I never really believed in it, until I myself went through the whole process.

So, anyone reading this piece. Don’t be like me. Seek help.

What I learned in the end

  • Wild Casino is a genuine betting site. Not your traditional honest-until-you-win online casino.
  • If one wins, they will pay, no matter how large the amount.
  • Risk management is essential if one wants to survive on the player’s side of this business.
  • Never take gambling seriously. Always play for fun. Small amounts.
  • Use the money you won on other things in life. Don’t end up depositing your winnings back to the casino, like the buffoon version of me did, and consequently lost.
  • Seek help. Orgs like the National Council on Problem Gambling are a good start.

So this is my WildCasino.ag story or review, or whatever you may want to call it.

I was stupid enough to go in, in the first place. I conflated luck with my “imaginary” gambling skills. And then ranked even higher on the Idiot-scale by trashing away my rather healthy winnings back to Wild Casino.

Don’t be like me.

Be better.
